DOVER, DE – A Dover landlord is in hot water today after being arrested for threatening children in one of his apartments with a bb gun.

“The Dover Police Department arrested Raymond Lebeau Jr. (39) after threatening juveniles with a weapon on Thursday morning according to Sergeant Mark Hoffman .

“Officers responded to his home in the 100 Block of Quail Hollow Drive for a disturbance at approximately 9:06 a.m. Upon arrival, they learned that a mother and two daughters rented a room from Lebeau,” Sergeant Mark Hoffman  said. “Another tenant in the home slammed a door inside of the residence, upsetting Lebeau.”

Hoffman said as Lebaue was yelling in the home, the 16-year-old child asked Lebeau to calm down because he was upsetting her 8-year-old sister.  At that time, Lebeau stated he would harm both children with weapons.

Leabeau then retrieved what was believed to be a black handgun and placed it against the 8-year-old’s head and threatened to shoot her.  The mother arrived at the residence and broke up the confrontation.  Lebeau was arrested at the scene without incident.  Officers located a black bb gun/handgun replica at the scene.
