Essex County man becomes millionaire at NJ Lottery replay event in Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — A New Jersey man is walking away a millionaire after hitting the top prize at the state’s Million Dollar Replay drawing held at an Atlantic City casino.

Louis Massa of Essex County won the grand prize as part of the New Jersey Lottery’s annual second-chance event at the Golden Nugget.

More than $1.5 million in total prizes were awarded during the event, with 14 additional players winning between $10,000 and $100,000.

The contest allowed players to submit non-winning scratch-off tickets throughout 2025 for a chance at the grand prize drawing.

Smaller prizes, including cash awards, scratch-off packs, and gift baskets, were also handed out during the event.

The Million Dollar Replay drawing marks the 15th consecutive year the Lottery has hosted the event in Atlantic City.
