NEW YORK, NY – Police responded to a 911 call on Monday, December 11, at approximately 8:37 AM, reporting an injured male near Center Drive and 62nd Street in Central Park. Upon arrival, officers from the Central Park Precinct discovered an unidentified male with multiple lacerations to his body inside the park.
Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to the scene and pronounced the individual deceased. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is tasked with determining the cause of death. As of now, the investigation into this incident is ongoing, and the identity of the deceased remains unknown, pending notification of the family.
The NYPD is conducting a thorough investigation and urges anyone with information to come forward to assist in the case.
