BALTIMORE, Md. — A man was fatally shot Tuesday evening on a West Baltimore street, prompting a homicide investigation, according to Baltimore Police.

Officers responded at about 7:35 p.m. on June 30 to the 1300 block of Stockton Street for a reported shooting.

When officers arrived, they found an adult man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not released the victim’s identity.

Baltimore Police homicide detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation.

Investigators have not announced any arrests or released information about a possible suspect or motive.
