NEW YORK, NY – A man was beaten with a metal object, believed to be a metal pipe, inside the Brooklyn Bridge subway station on Wednesday at around 6:20 am. Today, police released a photo of the suspect wanted in the attack.
According to police, a suspect described as a black male in his 20s approached a 52-year-old man inside the stairwell of the subway station and struck him in the back of the head with the metal object. Police said the attack was unprovoked.

The victim was treated on scene and transported by FDNY EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue. He had a laceration on his head and suffered from head trauma. He was listed in stable condition.
Police have not made any arrests in this case.
