The 39-year-old victim was attacked shortly after midnight at the Parkside Avenue Station in Brooklyn.

The suspect remains at large as NYPD detectives work to identify and locate the individual responsible.

Argument Turns Violent on Subway Train

According to NYPD Crime Stoppers, the incident occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m. Friday, May 29, aboard a southbound Q train within the confines of the 70th Precinct and Transit District 32.

Police said an unidentified man became involved in a verbal dispute with the victim while on the train.

The confrontation escalated when the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim in the abdomen with a sharp object.

Investigators said the attacker fled on foot to an unknown location immediately after the assault.

The NYPD has not released a description of the suspect and has not disclosed additional details about the circumstances that led to the argument.
