BRONX, NY – A late-night argument on a Bronx subway platform turned tragic when a man was punched, fell against a passing train, and tumbled onto the tracks early Saturday morning.
The violent encounter happened around 1:52 a.m. at the Westchester Avenue and Elder Avenue station on the northbound 6 line.
Police say three unidentified men approached the victim during a verbal dispute before one of them struck him in the face, sending him sprawling toward the moving train.

Police release descriptions of suspects
All three suspects are described as males between 18 and 25 years old with medium complexions, slender builds, and brown eyes.
The first was last seen wearing a gray t-shirt, gray pants, black and yellow shoes, and a dark-colored mask. The second wore a black puffer jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes. The third was dressed in a gray long-sleeve shirt, black puffer jacket, dark jeans, black shoes, and a light-colored ski mask.
Detectives from the NYPD Transit Bureau are reviewing surveillance footage and urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
