Man Violently Slashed Outside NYC Javitz Center, Couple Sought

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is actively searching for two suspects involved in a violent assault that occurred in the early hours of Monday, June 10, 2024. The incident took place at approximately 1:42 AM at the rear of 655 West 34th Street, where a 37-year-old male was attacked.

According to reports, the victim was approached by two unidentified individuals who used unknown metal cutting instruments to slash him in the face and abdomen. The severe assault resulted in significant lacerations to both areas. Emergency services responded promptly, and the victim was transported to NYC Health+Hospitals/Bellevue, where he is currently listed in serious but stable condition.

Following the attack, the assailants fled on foot in the direction of West 37th Street. Authorities are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information regarding the identities and whereabouts of the suspects to come forward.
