SALISBURY, MD – The Maryland State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man wanted in connection with a deadly stabbing that occurred early Saturday morning in Salisbury.

The victim has been identified as Kem’mon La’Austin Walker, 27, of Eden, Maryland. Police said Walker was taken to TidalHealth Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Investigators have named Carlus Dupree Gerald Jr., 35, of Salisbury, as the suspect in the case.
Arrest warrant issued for suspect
Authorities confirmed that an arrest warrant has been issued for Gerald, who faces charges including second-degree murder and additional related offenses. Police have not yet released details about the circumstances leading to the stabbing but said the incident remains under active investigation.
Public urged to come forward with information
Anyone with knowledge of Gerald’s whereabouts is urged to contact Maryland State Police immediately. Officials warned that the suspect should be considered dangerous and should not be approached directly.
A violent confrontation in Salisbury has now turned into a statewide manhunt as troopers search for a suspect in the death of Kem’mon Walker.
