New Jersey morning traffic update: Crashes, delays, and major closures

NEW JERSEY — Commuters across New Jersey are facing multiple crashes, delays, and lane closures this morning, with major incidents affecting several highways and transit routes.

Major Incidents:

  • Crash on NJ 18 Northbound – One left lane closed at Paulus Blvd in New Brunswick.
  • Crash and Utility Pole Down on US 322 – All lanes closed west of NJ 54 in Folsom; detours in place.
  • Overturned Vehicle on I-78 Westbound – Two left lanes closed near Exit 29 in Bridgewater Township.
  • Emergency Construction and Sinkhole on I-80 Eastbound – All lanes closed and detoured at Exit 34 in Wharton.
