Forecasters say the state will experience classic fall weather over the next three days, with cool afternoons, clear nights, and a steady breeze making jackets a necessity.

Overnight lows will dip into the 30s and even the upper 20s by the weekend.

Friday: Cool finish to the workweek

Friday will bring another mostly sunny day with highs near 52 and a light west breeze of 5 to 10 mph. By nightfall, skies will remain clear and temperatures will fall to around 29, signaling a cold start to the weekend.
