New York, NY – As of 8:44 a.m., a disabled bus on I-678 northbound exit ramp to Grand Central Parkway has blocked one left lane. Commuters in the area are advised to use caution.

Earlier, at 8:36 a.m., a crash on I-678 northbound at Northern Boulevard (NY 25A) also blocked the left lane, causing additional delays for drivers in New York.

Police activity was reported on NY 27 westbound between Exit 65 (Hamptons Bay Road; NY 24) and Exit 64 (Lewis Road; Pleasure Drive; CR104) in Southampton at 8:33 a.m., resulting in the closure of one left lane.

In Fishkill, a crash with property damage occurred on I-84 eastbound, west of Exit 46 (Poughkeepsie – Peekskill, US 9), blocking the right shoulder at mile marker 45.5 as of 8:21 a.m.

Another crash with property damage was reported on the Sprain Brook State Parkway southbound, north of Exit NY 100 in Yonkers at 8:15 a.m., which also blocked the right shoulder at mile marker 1.1.

A disabled vehicle was found on the Northern State Parkway eastbound at Exit 26S (New Hyde Park Road) in North Hempstead, leading to a right shoulder closure at 8:08 a.m.

In Le Roy, a crash on I-90 – NYS Thruway eastbound before Exit 47 (Rochester – LeRoy, I-490 – Rte 19) blocked one right lane as of 8:04 a.m.

At 8:02 a.m., all lanes were closed due to a crash on NY 27 in both directions at Exit 64 (Lewis Road; Pleasure Drive; CR104) in Southampton.

A disabled vehicle on the Newburgh Beacon Bridge eastbound on the Orange County side in Newburgh caused the right shoulder to be closed at 7:58 a.m.

A disabled vehicle on NY 7 westbound at the Miller Road Overpass in Colonie blocked the right shoulder as of 7:27 a.m.

A crash on the Southern State Parkway eastbound, east of Exit 19S (Peninsula Boulevard) in Hempstead, led to a left shoulder closure at 7:25 a.m.

Falling debris on NY-930B southbound between W. Genesee Street and Erie Boulevard W in Syracuse closed one right lane at 6:00 a.m.

Roadwork and construction activities are also impacting several areas. On I-495 eastbound between Exit 28 (Oceania Street/Francis Lewis Boulevard) and 213th Street in New York, one right lane is closed from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

In Brookhaven, NY 112 southbound between Pine Road and Old Town Road has the left shoulder closed until 10:00 a.m. as of 8:41 a.m.

Construction on I-90 – NYS Thruway westbound near Exit 31 (Utica, Rte 8 – Rte 12) in Marcy has closed one right lane since 8:30 a.m.

Similarly, construction on NY 7 in both directions east of NY 22 in Hoosick involves alternating lane closures until 1:00 p.m.

Construction activities are also affecting NY 40 northbound from Albert Drive to Irish Road in Schaghticoke, with alternating lane closures until 3:30 p.m.

On NY 635 northbound between Erie Boulevard East (NY 5), Thompson Road, and the ramp to I-690 eastbound in De Witt, the right shoulder is closed until 3:30 p.m.

Roadwork on I-495 eastbound between Exit 67 (Yaphank Avenue; CR 21) and Exit 70 (CR 111) in Brookhaven has closed one right lane and shoulder until 12:00 p.m.

NY 201 southbound between Patchogue-Holbrook Road (CR-19) and Nichols Road (CR-97) in Union has alternating lanes blocked for approach and deck repairs today from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. This work is weather dependent.

Further roadwork on NY 17B in both directions between Coopers Corners Road and Kitz Road in Thompson involves alternating one-way traffic with flag personnel present from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. This work is also weather dependent.
