JACKSON, N.J. – Only five dates remain to experience Nightmare at Gravity Hill, the massive haunted attraction that has terrified visitors all season with its sprawling ghost town, eerie fields, and sinister cast of creatures.

Located at Cicconi Farms on Farmingdale Road, the outdoor event continues October 17–18, 24–25, 31, and November 1 before closing for the season.

Organizers promise more than 35 minutes of walkable haunted trails spread across five acres — a journey through a cursed ghost town inspired by the mysterious legend of Gravity Hill.

Key Points

  • Nightmare at Gravity Hill runs October 17–18, 24–25, 31, and November 1 at Cicconi Farms in Jackson.
  • Features over a dozen themed scenes, haunted trails, and live actors across five acres.
  • Tickets: $35 general admission, $50 express entry; ages 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

A haunted legend brought to life

The attraction takes its name from the real-life Gravity Hill, a strange roadside slope made famous in Weird NJ and countless online videos for its illusion of cars rolling uphill. The haunted walkthrough expands on that lore, plunging guests into a nightmare of ghouls, zombies, and creepy clowns lurking among the fields and ruins.

An immersive horror experience

Unlike a traditional hayride, Nightmare at Gravity Hill is a fully walkable attraction where visitors wind through over a dozen detailed scenes populated by live performers. Each twist of the trail reveals new frights — from haunted graveyards and fog-shrouded barns to possessed carnival grounds.

Not for the faint of heart

The attraction carries several warnings: it is not recommended for young children, pregnant women, or anyone with heart or health issues. Those under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Organizers encourage guests to wear comfortable shoes — in case one of Gravity Hill’s monsters decides to follow.
