Norfolk police arrest suspect wanted in Hotel Assault

NORFOLK, VA – A suspect in a hotel assault investigation has been taken into custody in Norfolk. The man was wanted in connection with a sexual assault at a hotel in Downtown Norfolk and was arrested by detectives investigating the incident.

On Monday, at approximately 12:00 p.m., the police received a report of a sexual assault at the Waterside Marriott located at 235 E. Main Street. Following the investigation, Donte J. Davis, aged 29, has been charged with rape.

Currently, Davis is being held without bond in the Norfolk City Jail.
