NORTH BERGEN, NJ — A 34-year-old North Bergen man has been arrested and charged in connection with the December 2024 murder of Juan Moyet, 48, according to Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez.

Henry Delgado was taken into custody on January 13, 2025, at a residence in Union City. He faces multiple charges, including murder, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, certain persons not to possess a weapon, disturbing or desecrating human remains, and hindering prosecution. Delgado is being held at the Hudson County Correctional Facility pending his first court appearance.

The investigation began on December 9, 2024, when North Bergen police responded to reports of an unresponsive male inside a second-floor residence at 9028 Palisade Plaza. Officers discovered Moyet deceased at the scene, and the Regional Medical Examiner later determined he died from a gunshot wound to the head.

Authorities have not released details about a possible motive, and the investigation remains ongoing.
