NYPD Seeks Robbery Suspects Who Fled Scene on Blue Moped

NEW YORK, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in locating two individuals wanted in connection to a robbery that occurred in the early hours of September 1.

The incident took place at approximately 3:25 a.m., when a 43-year-old male was accosted by two unknown males in front of 37-15 81 Street. The suspects demanded the victim’s property, resulting in a physical altercation.

They managed to forcibly remove the victim’s wallet, which contained around $400, before fleeing the area on a blue moped. They were last seen traveling northbound on 81 Street toward 37 Avenue. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The first individual is described as a male with a light complexion, last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and a black ski mask. The second individual is also described as a male with a light complexion, last seen in a black “New York” hat, a black sweatshirt with patches, and black and white pants.
