NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in an inappropriate incident with a child on Thursday morning.
According to reports, at approximately 7:45 AM, a 9-year-old girl was approached by an unknown male in front of 837 59th Street in Brooklyn, where he touched her inappropriately over her clothing.
The suspect is described as a male between 5’6″ and 5’7″ tall, with a light complexion and an average build. He was last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
The girl was not physically injured. Authorities urge anyone with information to come forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
