Ocean city police searching for suspects in uptown restaurant theft

OCEAN CITY, MD — The Ocean City Police Department (OCPD) is requesting public assistance to identify individuals and a vehicle linked to a recent theft. The incident occurred near a restaurant located at the area of 128th Street on August 9, 2024, around 5:58 PM.

Authorities are looking for a silver four-door hatchback with significant damage on the driver’s side, which is believed to be involved in the theft. The OCPD has released images of the subjects and the vehicle to aid in their identification.

Members of the public who have any information about the theft or recognize the vehicle and subjects in the images are encouraged to contact PFC Kautz at ckautz@oceancitymd.gov, referencing case number CC# 2024-003671.
