WARRENTON, VA – Lamar Howard, an Orlando-based truck driver, recently won $700 in the Virginia Lottery’s Pick 3 game during a stop at Love’s Travel Stop on 5021 Lee Highway, just outside Warrenton. The win came on the night of April 29, where the winning numbers were 8-4-5.
Howard, known for his generous spirit, was helping another trucker at the time of his ticket purchase, an act of kindness he says is typical for him. His good deed was seemingly repaid when he matched the winning combination in that evening’s draw.

Upon returning to Virginia to claim his prize, Howard requested his win be featured on the Virginia Lottery’s website, a wish the Lottery was pleased to grant. The $700 prize marks a significant win for Howard, who continues to enjoy helping others as part of his routine.
