JACKSON-An anonymous emailer, claiming to represent the Orthodox Jewish community in Jackson who goes by the name “Rise Up Jackson NJ” has fired another warning shot at the township of Jackson, this time, targetting Mayor Michael Reina and Councilman Robert Nixon.
Last week, Reina and Nixon, along with the Jackson Township Council agreed to hire a new lawyer to represent the township in an ongoing religious land use lawsuit at the rate of $800 per hour.
The latest anonymous letter from “Rise Up Jackson NJ”, a parody of the facebook page and website “Rise Up Ocean County” alledges Reina and Nixon are affiliated with groups they perceive as “bigoted”, including Jackson NJ Strong and Rise Up OC.
“For to [sic] long they have used such groups to get out messages to their followers and to the residents of Jackson,” the letter reads. “For too long they have harassed the religious residents of Jackson and used code enforcement and other such methods to harass good people going along their peaceful lives. Mr Reina and Mr Nixon have passed resolutions that even their own attorney told them was against the constitution. Things must change and they must change now. ”
For weeks, since the involvement of the Simon Wiesenthal Center in local politics, Rise Up Jackson NJ has sent numerous emails to the Jackson Township government, CC’ing news media outlets in an attempt to lobby them for coverage.
Despite multiple requests, Rise Up Jackson NJ, like its opposition, Rise Up Ocean County has refused to reveal their true identity.

While many are wondering why Jackson Township refused to condemn bigotry and continue to play ball with bigoted groups ( Rise Up O.C. , Jackson N.J. Strong etc) to us it is simple .Mike Reina and Rob Nixon can not condemn true hate when they use hate groups to pass along messages of their own. For to long they have used such groups to get out messages to their followers and to the residents of Jackson.

For too long Mr Reina has gotten away with his lies , claiming things were not up to him and that ” code enforcement ” has to do their job. Does Mr Reina realize that his lies are catching up to him and that it has been revealed that he specifically ordered code enforcement to go after code enforcement issues ” committed” by the Jewish residents ! Does Mr Reina always ask code enforcement to go check out violations?
