Man accused of repeated sexual assaults on juvenile in Hackensack

Hackensack Man Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges

**Hackensack, NJ** – Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella announced the arrest of 44-year-old Florelvi Paulino Vasquez from Hackensack, NJ. The arrest pertains to charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child.

The investigation was a joint effort involving the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office, the Hackensack Police Department, and the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office. On Saturday, November 9, 2024, the Hackensack Police Department informed the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Victims Unit about a previous alleged sexual assault of a juvenile.

The investigation revealed that Vasquez sexually assaulted and endangered a juvenile in Hackensack on numerous occasions between November 2017 and November 2018. As a consequence of the investigation, on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, Vasquez was formally charged.

Vasquez turned himself in to the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday, March 9, 2025, and was subsequently held at the Bergen County Jail. He is awaiting a first appearance in Bergen County Superior Court in Hackensack, NJ. Prosecutor Musella emphasized the charges are accusations

Stafford deputies arrest one after breaking up gathering at vacant home

Renovation Site Gathering Disrupted by Local Deputies

**Stafford, VA** – A gathering at a residence under renovation was interrupted by local deputies on Sunday night. Around 8:57 p.m., Sergeant E.E. West, Deputy C.A. Sharp, Deputy X.D. Bates, and Deputy J.J. Holetzky responded to a disturbance in the Foxwood Village subdivision.

The residence, which was not supposed to be occupied, was found to have several individuals inside. Deputies, who were already in the vicinity due to another call, quickly arrived and discovered the presence of people inside. The suspects attempted to flee when deputies shone flashlights on them, leading to a foot chase.

The first suspect surrendered after realizing he could not outrun the deputies. All suspects but one were identified. Inside the residence, deputies found several cans of Four Loko, and it was discovered that only one of the suspects was of legal drinking age, at 21 years old.

The 21-year-old was arrested and charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, unlawful entry, and fleeing from law enforcement. He is being held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. Pending juvenile complaints involve the two

Suspect Nabbed After Slow-Speed Pursuit in North Carolina

**Boone, NC** – A suspect was apprehended following a low-speed pursuit involving Watauga and Wilkes Counties on March 18, 2025.

A Watauga County deputy attempted a traffic stop on a silver Infiniti on U.S. Highway 421, due to erratic driving in a 55 MPH zone. The driver, suspected of impairment, did not comply, instead executing a U-turn toward Deep Gap.

Efforts to stop the vehicle using spike strips by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol were initially unsuccessful. The pursuit continued into Wilkes County, where the Wilkesboro Police Department deployed spike strips near Lowe’s Hardware, successfully stopping the vehicle.

The suspect, Matthew David Adubato, 42, of Boynton Beach, Florida, faces charges in Wilkes County, including Driving While Impaired and Fleeing to Elude Arrest. Additional charges are pending in Watauga County. The Watauga County Sheriff’s Office acknowledged the support of multiple law enforcement agencies in resolving the incident.

New Jersey woman accused of firing gunshots during road rage dispute

**Juliette Piscopo Arrested for Alleged Attempted Murder in North Plainfield**

**NORTH PLAINFIELD, N.J.** – Authorities announced the arrest of Juliette A. Piscopo, a 26-year-old resident of Greenbrook, New Jersey, for an attempted murder on Route 22 West in North Plainfield during a road rage incident. The incident occurred on the evening of Sunday, February 2, when Piscopo allegedly fired gunshots at another vehicle.

On that Sunday at approximately 9:06 p.m., North Plainfield Police responded to a 9-1-1 call regarding gunfire hitting a vehicle during a road rage confrontation. The victim, a North Plainfield resident, described that while driving on North Avenue and Madison Avenue in Dunellen, a Mercedes-Benz tried to merge into their lane, later following them for around fifteen minutes into North Plainfield.

As they traveled west on Route 22, the Mercedes allegedly pulled alongside the victim’s car and fired several bullets, shattering windows and damaging the vehicle. The victim reported being unharmed. Detectives from both the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office and North Plainfield Police Department conducted an investigation.
