PHILADELPHIA, P.A. — Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect involved in a hit-and-run that left a 47-year-old woman with a traumatic brain injury in Northeast Philadelphia.

The incident occurred on October 8, 2024, at approximately 8:44 a.m. at the intersection of Bustleton Avenue and Stanwood Street.

Police say the victim was crossing in the crosswalk when she was struck by a vehicle driven by an unidentified man. The driver briefly pulled the injured woman out of the street but fled the scene before police or paramedics arrived.

The suspect is described as a male between 20 and 30 years old, wearing eyeglasses, a red hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and red, white, and black sneakers.

The Philadelphia Police Department has released surveillance footage of the incident and urges anyone with information to contact authorities.
