BRONX, NY – Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 15-year-old girl who disappeared after leaving her home in the Bronx on Monday morning.
Investigators said Jazlyn Vasquez was last seen around 7:30 a.m. leaving her residence at East 138 Street within the 40th Precinct.
Vasquez is described as a Hispanic female, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall and about 130 pounds, with pink hair and brown eyes.
Family members contacted police after she failed to return home later that day.
The NYPD Missing Persons Squad has circulated her description citywide as the search continues.

Detectives from the 40th Precinct are reviewing nearby surveillance footage and checking locations where Vasquez is known to frequent.
Community affairs officers have also been coordinating with local organizations and residents to broaden the search.
