Linthicum, MD – Officers responded to a robbery at Royal Farms on Camp Meade Road South on Monday at approximately 6:10 a.m. Employees reported a male suspect entered the store, leapt over the counter, and began taking cigarettes.
During the incident, the suspect implied possessing a handgun and verbally threatened the staff, although no weapon was seen. The suspect continued to take cigarettes before leaving the store on foot. Despite canvassing the area, officers did not locate the suspect. The Regional Crimes Unit is investigating, and information is sought from the public.
At around 4:20 p.m. on the same day, officers responded to the vicinity of Crain Highway and Crain Court Circle in Glen Burnie following reports of shots being fired. Witnesses indicated seeing a male dressed in all black emerge from an apartment complex and fire multiple shots at three individuals heading north on Crain Highway.
The individuals fled across the highway toward Thelma Avenue, but an extensive search did not find them. Officers discovered projectile marks in the ground and fragments on the roadway.
