TRENTON, NJ – Following recent terrorist attacks by Hamas into Israel, Senators Joe Pennacchio and Bob Singer have strongly denounced the acts and are urging New Jersey legislators to convene in Trenton. They are calling for the immediate passage of a resolution to show support for Israel and the global Jewish community.

Sen. Pennacchio, representing the 26th district, expressed his distress over the violence, especially having visited Israel just weeks prior. He emphasized the need for unwavering support for the Jewish communities during these challenging times and condemned the atrocities committed by Hamas. Both senators are in the process of drafting a resolution that underscores this support.

Representing the 30th district, which houses the state’s largest Jewish community, Sen. Singer echoed similar sentiments. He stressed the importance of the Legislature’s solid backing for the Jewish community, especially in the wake of such violence. The senator called for an immediate reconvening in Trenton to pass their proposed resolution and officially denounce Hamas for its aggressive actions against Israel.
