Stafford County, VA – A drug bust on I-95 resulted in the arrest of a wanted Stafford man, along with the seizure of multiple controlled substances and a firearm.

On July 22, at approximately 7:58 p.m., First Sergeant A.I. Assur identified a wanted suspect driving a black Ford Explorer entering northbound I-95. The suspect, Jeremy Flores, 20, was wanted out of Stafford County for failing to comply with a pretrial condition.

Providing live updates on the vehicle’s travel, First Sergeant Assur coordinated with deputies staged near mile marker 140. When the vehicle reached the area, deputies initiated a high-risk stop, confirmed the driver as Flores, and placed him in handcuffs without incident.

An inventory search of the vehicle uncovered numerous items of interest, including suspected controlled substances, THC products, a large amount of cash, a loaded firearm, and additional ammunition. Using the TruNarc drug identification device, the controlled substance was identified as cocaine.

Flores faces charges of two counts of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm while in possession of controlled substances, and was served on his outstanding warrant. He is currently held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
