WASHINGTON, D.C. — Two individuals boarded a Metrobus to flee the scene of an attempted armed robbery Wednesday morning in Southeast D.C., according to officials.

The incident unfolded at approximately 9:50 a.m. on the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue Southeast, where the suspects allegedly approached a victim, brandished stun guns, and demanded property.

Surveillance cameras captured images of the suspects, and law enforcement has released the footage in an effort to identify them. The video can be viewed online at https://youtu.be/9UBpRfWmJCo.

Anyone with information is urged to contact investigators by calling (202) 727-9099 or texting tips to 50411. A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.

Officials warn that the suspects should not be approached but reported to police.
