NEW YORK, NY — A 49-year-old male was assaulted on the southbound “D” train platform of the Fordham Road subway station on Monday, August 28, 2023, around 6:25 p.m.
According to reports, an unidentified individual punched the victim in the face before fleeing the station on foot.
Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to Montefiore Medical Center, where he is in stable condition. T
he assailant’s whereabouts remain unknown, and the investigation is ongoing. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
