HENDERSON, N.C. – In a quick arrest following a Thursday morning shooting, Eric Ryan Hill was taken into custody by the Vance County Sheriff’s Office.
The incident, which took place in the area of Gillburg Lane, Henderson, resulted in two men being shot.
The victims were transported to Maria Parham Medical Center.
One of the victims, Daniel Blake Grissom of Henderson, succumbed to his injuries.
Hill, who was considered “armed and dangerous,” has been charged with first-degree murder.
