BALTIMORE, MD—An attempted murder arrest has been made following a stabbing incident in West Baltimore last month. Baltimore Police reported that 35-year-old Calvin Moore was arrested on May 30, 2024, in connection with a violent altercation that occurred in April.

On April 22, at approximately 3:45 PM, Western District patrol officers were dispatched to a residence in the 2900 block of Edmondson Avenue after reports of a burglary. Upon arrival, they found a 36-year-old male suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Investigations revealed that the stabbing stemmed from a dispute between the victim and Moore, during which Moore allegedly used a knife to inflict the injuries before fleeing the scene. Identified as a repeat violent offender, Moore was apprehended and has been charged with attempted first-degree murder. He is currently being held at the Central Booking Intake Facility.
