**Randallstown, MD** – A new multimillionaire emerged in Randallstown after winning a Maryland Lottery FAST PLAY progressive jackpot. The winning ticket, worth $2,948,743, was purchased on this Thursday afternoon and broke previous records set by the $2,620,246 jackpot from October 2021.
J&S Liquors in Baltimore County, located at 10000 Liberty Road, sold the winning VIP Club ticket. As compensation, the retailer will receive a $1,000 bonus from the Lottery. The game, introduced on July 3, 2023, has now concluded after the jackpot was claimed.
Maryland Lottery advises the winner to promptly sign the back of the ticket and store it securely. There are 182 days from the drawing date to collect the prize.
Winners claiming over $25,000 must do so at the Lottery HQ at Montgomery Park Business Center, 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330, Baltimore. Appointments can be made via the lottery’s appointment scheduling page.
