BALTIMORE, MD — A 16-year-old suspect has been arrested and charged as an adult in connection with a December armed robbery in Northwest Baltimore, where a victim was held at gunpoint and fired upon while fleeing the scene.

Victim escapes robbery after shots fired

On the evening of December 7, 2024, officers responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 3700 block of Howard Park Avenue. A 48-year-old man told officers he was approached by a male suspect who displayed a firearm and demanded his belongings.

As the victim fled, the suspect discharged the weapon multiple times. No injuries were reported at the scene.

Teen suspect arrested after months-long investigation

Detectives identified the suspect and secured an arrest warrant on March 27, 2025. On April 9, Warrant Apprehension detectives located and arrested the 16-year-old suspect in the 4000 block of North Rogers Avenue.

The teen was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged as an adult with attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery, and reckless endangerment.
