Teens Arrested for Armed Robbery of McDonald's

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD – A 16-year-old female and a 16-year-old male were arrested on Friday, April 28, 2023, for a robbery at a Mcdonald’s in the 12300 block of Georgia Ave.

Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section discovered that the suspects approached the juvenile victim and demanded his shoes.

When the victim refused, he was punched in the face, and his shoes were stolen. The suspects then fled the scene in a Honda SUV.

Officers from the 4th District Community Action Team and Special Assignment Team observed the suspects leaving John F. Kennedy High School and getting into the SUV involved in the robbery.

A traffic stop was conducted, revealing items stolen from the robbery, a privately manufactured gun (ghost gun), and a large quantity of fentanyl pills. Both juvenile suspects were taken into custody.

The female suspect was released to her mother, while the male suspect was charged as an adult.
