WALL TOWNSHIP – Local police reported three arrests over the weekend involving outstanding warrants and a drunk driving charge, according to the Wall Township Police Department’s latest blotter.

On Friday, Patrolman Kevin Donegan arrested Carlos Oviedo, 34, of Brick, during a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 34. Oviedo was found to have an active traffic warrant out of Neptune City. He was processed and released after posting bail.

The following evening, Patrolman Wayne Jackson responded to a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 33/34. The driver, Carlos Bana-Chiriboga, 24, of Harrison, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and assault by auto. Police said he was processed and released on a summons pending a court appearance.

On Sunday, Patrolman Clint Forgach conducted a motor vehicle stop on State Highway 33 that led to the arrest of Trevis Jackson, 56, of Wall Township. Jackson had an active criminal warrant out of Long Branch. He was taken into custody, processed, and later turned over to Long Branch authorities.

No injuries were reported in connection with any of the arrests. All cases remain under local court jurisdiction.
