Today is Going to Be Warm, with High Near 70 Across New Jersey, Cooler Weather Coming

A warm start to the week will give way to cooler, cloudier conditions as the weekend approaches.

TRENTON, N.J. — New Jersey residents can expect a warm and sunny day with a high near 70 before cooler temperatures arrive midweek.

Tonight, skies will remain mostly clear with a low around 40 as winds shift from the south to the northwest. Wednesday will be mostly sunny but cooler, with a high near 54 as winds transition from north to east in the afternoon.

Clouds will increase Wednesday night with a low around 38. Thursday and Friday will stay mostly cloudy, with highs in the low 50s and overnight lows in the upper 30s.
