WASHINGTON, DC — A call for community assistance has been issued after three suspects carried out an armed carjacking in Northeast D.C. last Sunday. The confrontation took place around 4:30 a.m. in the 800 block of K Street, where the trio approached a man outside his running vehicle.
Brandishing handguns, two of the suspects demanded the victim’s wallet. After seizing it, they escaped in the victim’s car, which has since been recovered. Surveillance footage showing two of the suspects has been made available.
