Two $50K winners drawn in Pennsylvania Millionaire Raffle weekly giveaway
MIDDLETOWN, PA — Two Pennsylvania Lottery players — one in Fayette County and another in Allegheny County — are each $50,000 richer after winning the third weekly drawing in the New Year’s Millionaire Raffle promotion, with the winning ticket numbers selected from among more than 47,500 sold in a single week.
The weekly drawing, held as part of the lead-up to the grand $1 million raffle drawing on January 3, awarded two prizes of $50,000. The first winning ticket, 00114346, was sold at Center Independent Oil (Sweet Pea’s Food Mart) on West Fayette Street in Uniontown, Fayette County. The second ticket, 00115151, was sold at Giant Eagle on McKees Rocks Road in Kennedy Township, Allegheny County.
Players had to purchase eligible Millionaire Raffle tickets between November 18 and 24 to qualify for this third of eight weekly drawings. Winners are required to claim their prizes in person at a Pennsylvania Lottery office. Weekly drawing prizes cannot be claimed at retailers or by mail.
The Lottery reminds all players to keep their tickets, as every ticket remains eligible for the main Millionaire Raffle drawing on January 3, which will award four $1 million prizes and more than 6,000 other cash prizes.
The Pennsylvania Lottery also announced its continued participation in the Gift Responsibly Campaign, an initiative encouraging players not to give lottery tickets to children during the holiday season and promoting responsible play.
