CHICAGO, Ill. – Detectives are investigating a reported attempted sexual assault that occurred Wednesday afternoon in the 4600 block of West North Avenue, authorities said.
According to Chicago police, at approximately 12:30 p.m. on December 24, a woman was pushed into her vehicle by an unknown man who then tried to pull her pants down. The offender fled the scene in a white SUV with a sunroof and Illinois license plates.
The suspect is described as a Black male, between 30 and 40 years old, about 5 feet 7 to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing between 200 and 210 pounds, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, jeans, and a black leather jacket.
Police are urging the public to stay alert and report any suspicious behavior. Residents in the area are also encouraged to review home or business surveillance footage that may have captured the incident or the suspect’s vehicle.
