NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is asking for public assistance to identify two individuals in connection with a child endangerment incident happened on Wednesday, July 5.
As reported to the police, the incident occurred around 10:30 am when a 37-year-old woman, carrying a stroller with her 9-month-old child, was exiting the Utica Avenue- Crown Heights subway station. A dispute ensued with two individuals who brandished a knife and shoved the woman, causing her to lose balance.
The child struck his head against the wall as a result. The suspects fled into the subway station after the incident. The woman was uninjured, and the child was treated for minor injuries.
The first suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 25 to 30 years old, around 5’5” tall with a slim build, last seen wearing a blue vest, white t-shirt, gray shorts, and white sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a female with a dark complexion, roughly 25 to 30 years old, approximately 5’5” tall with a heavy build, last seen wearing a pink shirt, gray pants, and gray sneakers.
