PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Police Department is attempting to solve the case of a hit-and-run driver that killed 21-year-old Octavia Aaron last week. The family is seeking closure and wants to hold the driver accountable for their actions after taking her life and fleeing.
Aaron was about to graduate college where she was studying to become a physical therapist.
According to police, on October 1st at 2:02 AM, she was was attempting to cross Robbins Avenue and Ditman Street when she was struck by a vehicle traveling east on Robbins Ave.
“The vehicle did not stop and fled the scene last seen east on Robbins Ave. The vehicle and operator remain unidentified at this time,” police said.
Today, police released video of the suspect’s vehicle hoping the public can help them identify the driver.
