Baltimore Police Investigating Western District Murder on Cumberland Street

BALTIMORE, MD – On October 11, 2020, at approximately 11:58 a.m., Western District officers were patrolling the Pennsylvania Avenue corridor when the heard gunfire in the immediate area.
Officers began canvassing the area and discovered an unresponsive adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds in the 600 block of Cumberland Street. The victim was transported to an area hospital and pronounced dead by medical personnel a short time later. Homicide detectives were summoned and assumed control of the investigation.  Anyone with information is urged to contact Homicide detectives at 410-396-2100.
