$10K, electronics stolen in Brooklyn burglary; suspect sought

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — A burglar broke into a commercial establishment on Sheepshead Bay Road early Wednesday morning, stealing cash and electronics before fleeing on foot, police said.

The incident occurred at approximately 6 a.m. when the unidentified suspect used metal tools to forcibly open the front door of the business at 1650 Sheepshead Bay Road.

Once inside, the individual took $10,000 in cash, an Apple MacBook Pro laptop, and an Apple iPhone 13, authorities said.

The suspect was last seen traveling southbound on Sheepshead Bay Road before heading east on Voorhies Avenue.

No injuries were reported, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Police are searching for the suspect who burglarized the Brooklyn business.
