11-year-old girl critically missing in Southeast DC

Washington, D.C. — An urgent search is underway for 11-year-old Christyonna Keys, who was last seen Wednesday afternoon in Southeast Washington, police said.

Christyonna was last spotted around 2:00 p.m. on March 12 in the 1200 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast. She is described as 4’2” tall, weighing 80 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair styled in braids with two pink bands. She was wearing light blue jeans, a white coat, a black ski mask, black sneakers, and carrying a colorful purse.

The Metropolitan Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating her. Anyone with information is urged to call the Youth and Family Engagement Division at (202) 576-6768, the Real Time Crime Center at (202) 727-9099, or send an anonymous tip by texting 50411.
