Take 5 ticket worth over $33K sold at Bronx gas station

BRONX, NY – One lucky lottery player in the Bronx is waking up thousands of dollars richer after purchasing a top-prize winning TAKE 5 ticket at a Jerome Avenue gas station for Tuesday night’s drawing.

The New York Lottery confirmed that JB Gas & Food, located at 2947 Jerome Avenue, sold the $33,097.50 winning ticket for the TAKE 5 Evening drawing held on Tuesday. The winning numbers were drawn at 10:30 p.m.

TAKE 5 players choose five numbers from 1 through 39, with two drawings held daily. Prizes can be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.

It has not been disclosed whether the winner has come forward to claim their prize as of Thursday morning.
