12-Year-Old Boy Shot in Philadelphia Monday Afternoon

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Police are investigating a shooting in Kingsessing that left a 12-year-old boy injured.

The incident took place on Monday, at the 5700 block of Kingsessing Avenue, around 3:31 p.m. The boy sustained a gunshot wound to his right thigh while he was in the kitchen of the residence.

He was subsequently hospitalized for his injuries. Details surrounding the incident remain under investigation.

No arrests have been made. No suspects have been charged.
