13-Year-Old Arrested In Brutal Subway Attack

NEW YORK, NY – A 13-year-old male has been arrested and charged with assault in an incident that occurred on Saturday, June 17.

The New York City Police Department reports that at approximately 11:41 pm, on a MTA ‘Q’ train at the Prospect Park station, two individuals began a dispute with a 42-year-old male victim.

The suspects allegedly punched and kicked the victim, with one of them striking the victim’s head multiple times with a glass bottle.

The victim was able to escape from the train and privately sought medical attention for minor injuries and a laceration.
