CHICAGO, IL – A 13-year-old boy was shot on the evening of Monday in the 6000 block of W Bloomingdale.
The incident occurred around 10:00 pm when an unidentified assailant fired shots at the victim while he was walking on the sidewalk. The boy suffered gunshot wounds to his right shoulder and back and was promptly transported to Stroger Hospital in good condition.
No suspects have been apprehended, and detectives from Area Five are actively investigating the case. The authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward and assist in the ongoing investigation.
