Bronx, NY – A disturbing indecent assault of a young girl on a BX12 bus near Fordham Plaza has prompted a police investigation. The incident took place on Friday at approximately 7:20 AM, involving a 13-year-old female victim and an unidentified male.
According to reports, while aboard the bus in the vicinity of 1 Fordham Plaza, the male individual engaged in inappropriate conduct by pressing himself against the young victim. The victim subsequently exited the bus at Fordham Road. Fortunately, she did not sustain any injuries from the encounter.
The suspect has been described as a Hispanic male with a light complexion, standing about 5’6” tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds.
NYPD officials are actively seeking any information related to the individual responsible for this act and are urging witnesses or anyone with information to come forward to assist with the investigation.
