14-Year-Old Arrested for Swatting Incident at Lincoln High School

YONKERS, NY – A 14-year-old student at Lincoln High School in Yonkers has been arrested and charged with one count of Falsely Reporting an Incident, a Class E Felony in New York State Penal Law, after a swatting incident occurred on Wednesday.

Detectives from the Intelligence Division quickly identified the student as a person of interest after working with Yonkers Public Schools.

The student, who has not been named due to their age, was also found to be responsible for making additional fraudulent calls in the past.

The student was issued a desk appearance ticket returnable to Family Court and released into the custody of their parent.
