14-year-old beaten and robbed of phone in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – Detectives investigating the assault and robbery of a 14-year-old Bronx boy in February have released photos of two suspects wanted for the incident.

According to police, on February 21, three male suspects approached a 14-year-old male victim in front of 1995 Westchester Avenue and started a conversation with him.

“The individuals then punched the victim in the head and forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone. The individuals fled on foot to parts unknown,” detectives with the 43rd Precinct said in a statement. “The victim sustained minor injuries and refused medical attention.”

One of the suspects has been arrested, but police are seeking the two additional attackers.
